Cold weather has begun to intensify in Karachi, with a significant drop in temperature being observed.
According to the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department, the current cold spell in the city is likely to strengthen further in the coming days. The minimum temperature on Tuesday and Wednesday is expected to fall to around 14 degrees Celsius.
The department further stated that the maximum temperature may reach up to 30 degrees Celsius, while northeastern winds, particularly coming from the Tharparkar region, are expected to prevail in the city.
Light fog during the early morning hours may reduce visibility, while similar foggy conditions are also likely in the plains of the province. Meteorological data indicated that the lowest temperature recorded this morning was 8 degrees Celsius in Mithi.
