A tragic incident occurred in Abbottabad, where a passenger van plunged into a deep ravine, resulting in the death of five people, including a father and his son, while another individual sustained serious injuries.
According to rescue officials, the accident took place near the Bairan Gali area, where the van reportedly lost control on a sharp and narrow mountainous turn before falling into the gorge.
Rescue sources stated that as soon as the incident was reported, multiple rescue vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene. The rescue teams faced challenging terrain but managed to reach the victims using specialized equipment, retrieving the deceased and transferring the injured person to a nearby hospital.
