Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf must adopt a clear and unified stance as a political party, stating that the province’s chief minister himself appears unaware of the actual situation. He said conflicting statements within the party are creating confusion among the public.
While speaking, Faisal Karim Kundi remarked that the PTI leadership is behaving as if they are playing a football match again, merely passing the ball to each other without showing any clear direction or strategy.
The KP governor further stated that the first briefing given to Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is always related to the security situation. He added that when Ali Amin served as chief minister, he emphasised dialogue, but now claims are being made that Afghanistan is involved. According to him, one side is calling the elements terrorists, while the other is denying it.
He reiterated that PTI must take a clear and consistent line as a party, as the province’s chief minister does not seem to have a firm understanding of the prevailing situation.
