Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange is witnessing a strong upward trend on the final trading day of the business week. A positive momentum was observed right from the start of trading on Friday, with the benchmark index showing significant gains.
At the opening of the session, the benchmark index rose by 1,881 points to reach 183,338, while shortly afterward, it recorded a total increase of 2,575 points.
During the course of trading, the market gained further strength, and the benchmark index surged by 3,152 points, crossing the level of 184,600, reflecting growing investor confidence.
Within just one and a half hours today, the Pakistan Stock Exchange index climbed by up to 1.7 percent, highlighting the strong bullish trend in the market.
