A serious allegation has surfaced in Jacobabad, where seven police personnel, including the station house officer of Police Station RD-52, have been accused of allegedly assaulting a minor girl, drawing widespread attention from law enforcement authorities.
According to the complaint, the victim’s grandmother has alleged that the SHO, the head clerk, and five other police officials were involved in the alleged assault on her granddaughter, prompting the family to demand immediate and strict action.
Meanwhile, Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has taken notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the SSP Jacobabad to ascertain the facts surrounding the allegations.
Authorities stated that an investigation team has been formed under the supervision of the DSP Thull, which will conduct a thorough and impartial inquiry into the allegations, and legal action will be taken in accordance with the law if the accusations are proven.
