Security forces killed 15 militants backed by India during two separate operations in Balochistan. The actions were conducted based on intelligence reports targeting militant hideouts.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations, an intelligence based operation was carried out in Harnai district after reports about the presence of militants belonging to Fitna al Khawarij. During the operation, security forces surrounded militant hideouts and eliminated 12 militants.
ISPR stated that another operation was conducted in Basima district where three additional militants backed by India were killed. Security forces carried out a decisive action after tracing their location.
The military media wing said the killed militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities and were wanted by security forces.
ISPR added that security forces remain determined to eliminate externally sponsored terrorism from the country and operations against such elements will continue.
