The hearing on the Tosa Khana case against Imran Khan has been postponed until 11 April without any action being taken on the request to schedule an early hearing.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal had scheduled a hearing on the request for an early hearing, presented by the lawyer of the Election Commission, Amjad Parvez, in the Session Court Islamabad.
Police were unable to submit the implementation report on the notice to Imran Khan. When the junior lawyer representing Imran Khan appeared in court, they stated that neither their senior lawyers nor Imran Khan had received any notice.
The Election Commission had requested an early hearing in the Tosa Khana case, but the court has asked for evidence. It should be noted that the next hearing date for the Tosa Khana case was set for 29 April, but the Election Commission had requested an early hearing, which has now been denied.
