Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court will hear today the appeals filed by the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi seeking suspension of their sentences in the £190 million case, along with NAB’s petition against these requests.
According to sources, a bench comprising Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif will hear the case and consider arguments from both sides.
It is recalled that on January 17, 2025, the accountability court had sentenced the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in this case, following which appeals have now been filed in the higher court seeking relief.
