According to the Meteorological Department, a new westerly weather system will enter Balochistan from Iran on April 1, under which rainfall in Karachi is expected to begin from the night of April 1.
The department stated that chances of rain will be higher on April 2, while rainfall may continue in various parts of the city on April 3, with some areas possibly receiving 50 mm or more rainfall.
It further said that strong winds are also expected with this system, with speeds reaching 50 km/h or more, and citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures.
The Meteorological Department added that this weather system may continue to affect different parts of the country until April 4, bringing further rainfall and weather changes.
