PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has once again demanded that former prime minister Imran Khan be allowed to meet his family.
Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Barrister Gohar said 37 weeks had passed without anyone being allowed to meet the PTI founder.
He warned that blocking meetings with Imran Khan would increase hatred and political tensions.
Commenting on the Azad Kashmir elections, Barrister Gohar said the party’s political committee had discussed the matter and decided to boycott the elections after reviewing the situation in the region.
He said PTI had clearly stated that it does not support any anti-state narrative regarding Azad Kashmir but supports the legitimate demands of the people.
Barrister Gohar also rejected reports of a forward bloc within PTI.
Meanwhile, Bushra Bibi met members of her family at Adiala Jail.
Her sister-in-law Mehr-un-Nisa Maneka and daughter Mubashra Sheikh met her in the conference room for around 40 minutes.
Matters related to Bushra Bibi’s health were also discussed during the meeting.
