Justice Qazi Faiz Isa addressed the Golden Jubilee ceremony of the Constitution held in Islamabad, stating that they are celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the Constitution of Pakistan. The Constitution of Pakistan is for every citizen, and it was jointly adopted on April 10, 1973.
Justice Faiz Isa emphasized that this book is not only essential for Parliament but also for the people. It includes people’s rights, and after a struggle, it was established in Pakistan in 1947, and for the first time, a Muslim state appeared on the world map.
Justice Faiz Isa further added that they can explain the Constitution when there is an injustice, and the Constitution should not be presented in a way that it does not deserve. He said that we should see what the consequences of lies and immorality are. Pakistan was not suddenly broken in December 1971, but it was sown with the seeds of discord. The seeds sown divided the country into two parts, and the nation was ashamed. Then on July 4, 1977, one person waged war on democracy and the Constitution, and that person ruled for eleven years. Later, he passed away in a plane crash.
Justice Faiz Isa stated that if a decision is wrong, it will remain wrong. History has taught us a lesson seven times, and if we do not learn from history, we will repeat it. We bear the burden of the Constitution, and every citizen is bound to the book of the Constitution of Pakistan. The Constitution has a great spirit, and we must safeguard it.
