Islamabad High Court has ordered the government to refrain from harassing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and sought a response from the government while considering a petition.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Justice Aamer Farooq, heard a request to prevent the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan during the Eid holidays and to provide details of the cases against him.
Advocate Faisal Chaudhry appeared on behalf of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in court. Khan’s lawyer told the court that an attempt was made for dialogue with Saraj-ul-Haq Park, and the following morning they saw that the President of Sindh was arrested.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court said that this incident seems to have created a “bed test”.
