Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that assemblies will complete their term and elections will be held at the scheduled time. There will be no elections on May 14, and no threat, intimidation or arrogance from Imran Khan regarding elections will be tolerated.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of his party’s liaison office and his public secretariat in Faisalabad, Federal Interior Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League-N Punjab, Rana Sanaullah Khan, said that the assemblies will complete their term, and under the same year’s election schedule, they will be held on the same day and will be fair and free.
He said that Nawaz Sharif will lead the Pakistan Muslim League-N before the elections. Regarding the elections, no threat, intimidation or arrogance from Imran Khan will be tolerated.
He said that Imran Khan should leave behind the turmoil, chaos, rallies, and threats and sit on the political table to negotiate with all democratic forces to hold free, impartial, and transparent elections throughout the country. Otherwise, just like last year in May, when Imran Khan threatened to come to Islamabad on May 25 and do this and that, people saw what happened to him.
