Legal team of Farah Gogi, a close friend of Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has sent legal notices to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Interpol.
The FIA had requested Interpol to issue a red notice against Farah Gogi, but her legal team has sent legal notices to Interpol and FIA in response.
According to the legal team, the action against Farah Gogi is politically motivated, and the case against her is outside the jurisdiction of the FIA.
The notice states that the issuance of a red warrant violates Article 3 of the law related to the red warrant.
The legal team argues that the request for a red notice was released to the media, causing harm to Farah Gogi’s reputation. They also claim that the issuance of red warrants damages the country’s reputation.
The legal team has requested Interpol to take strict action if another letter is written for a red warrant.
