Government alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that there should be no restrictions on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Imran Khan should be removed from power.
Speaking to the media outside Gate Number One of the Parliament House, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if anyone conspires to bring them into power, they too will be criminals. We will stand with institutions and will settle our differences within limits.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Imran Khan is an unnecessary element in politics and action should be taken without wasting any time. These matters will be resolved within half a day.
He said that we also had emotions but we considered national assets as our own. We did the Azadi March but do they even understand the meaning of freedom? They have made hypocrisy a part of the state.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that how many organizations have been banned on the same basis, they are a burden on this country, society, and politics. They did not have the budget to take the country forward, so why were such people made rulers?
He said that this country is not lawless. We are witnessing scenes of arson and violence in Pakistan. The gates of the GHQ were broken, commanders’ houses were raided, and EDHI ambulances were set on fire.
He further said that no development work has been done in the country during the last three and a half years of the government.
