Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has said that if powerful people say that the country will be better off without me, then I am ready to leave the party.
In a video address to party workers through a link, Imran Khan stated that the media has been completely controlled, but it is astonishing that human rights organizations are not raising their voices. This is undermining democracy.
The PTI Chairman said that history will not forgive you. People have been thrown into jails, and suddenly, the internet has been shut down, making it impossible for me to communicate with anyone. I am ready whenever they come to arrest me.
Demanding a notice from the Chief Justice, he said that the nation is looking towards the judges of the Supreme Court to save this country. Take a stand for democracy because it feels like we are sitting in the era of the Gestapo. Therefore, the responsibility to save democracy lies with you.
Imran Khan instructs workers and officials to refrain from hiding, urging them not to stay at home or disappear. He states that this dark night will not last long, and if you give your 200 percent, it will be your turn to shine.
The former Prime Minister stated that we should have patience in difficult times. Bad times come in the lives of nations. I tell the nation that it is better to die than to accept such slavery because Allah did not create us to be slaves to anyone.
During his speech, Imran Khan further stated that we must maintain morale. Your captain is the one who fights until the last ball. The question of surrender does not arise, and I am ready for whatever they do.
The former Prime Minister said that I am ready to form a negotiating committee. Powerful people should go and talk to them. If they say that Pakistan will be better off without Imran Khan, I am ready to leave the party for the sake of the country.
