Islamabad: During the hearing of the cases related to Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Qaiser in Islamabad High Court, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir addressed the former Speaker of the National Assembly’s lawyer and asked, “Isn’t it time for Asad Qaiser to hold a press conference and resolve the matter?”
These remarks were made by Justice Arbab Tahir during the hearing on the request for providing details of Asad Qaiser’s cases in Islamabad High Court.
Upon hearing Justice Arbab Tahir’s remarks, laughter echoed in the courtroom. During the hearing, Islamabad Police also presented records of six FIRs.
Islamabad High Court justices Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb have ordered the release of Senator Aijaz Chaudhry, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), under the Third MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) Act, declaring his arrest unlawful. Islamabad police had placed Senator Aijaz Chaudhry under custody a week ago.
