Lahore: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has proposed the initiation of dialogue with the government. In his address on social media, Imran Khan stated, “Looking at the current state of affairs in the country, I believe that this nation will only be fine when all institutions come together and even the largest party in the federation sits together, which is currently opposing Pakistan. This perception is detrimental to Pakistan.”
According to Imran Khan, whenever he mentions negotiations, they are met with further difficulties. He said, “If the country’s conditions worsen, society will rupture. The process of negotiations should start immediately. That is why I am proposing a dialogue. Issues cannot be resolved through sticks and injustice, but only through the supremacy of the law and strengthening of institutions.”
He emphasized the need for the immediate initiation of a dialogue process in Pakistan. Imran Khan clarified that his proposal for negotiations should not be misconstrued as his weakness. Addressing the public, PTI workers, and leaders, he advised patience, stating that under pressure, parties do not end with people’s departure. If the ideology is alive, no one can eliminate the party.
The PTI Chairman stated, “As long as I breathe my last breath, I will continue to strive for real freedom. The country is in great peril at the moment, and I am concerned about my country. Those who are working together to achieve all this have no concern. The open market rate for the dollar has reached 308 rupees; after the end of my government, the dollar has depreciated to 130 rupees. The alarm bells should ring now. Who does not condemn the events of May 9? No one wants the weakening of the country’s army.”
