Bagh: People’s Party won the by-elections of Azad Kashmir. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), candidate Zia Qamar won from LA-15 in the inconclusive unofficial results.
LA-15 Azad Kashmir’s provisional unofficial results show Muslim League-N’s candidate Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas secured the second position, while PTI’s candidate has come in third. The Muslim League-N has accused the People’s Party of rigging.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated Zia-ul-Qamar on his success in the by-elections, stating that the people of Bagh have sent a message that the People’s Party is a living reality from Karachi to Kashmir.
Asif Ali Zardari expressed gratitude to the people of Bagh for trusting the People’s Party and urged Zia-ul-Qamar to accelerate the process of serving the people in light of this victory.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party is a symbol of unity in the country, and we have saved Pakistan before and we will continue to improve the country.
Foreign Minister and Chairman of the People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said that after Karachi and Multan, the arrow has hit in the by-elections of Azad Kashmir as well. I thank the people of Bagh for making the candidate successful.
