Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Co-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has stated that the PTI alliance is falling apart, and its dissolution has practically taken place. The announcement is yet to be made.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, “I appeared in court today, and my lawyer, Ali Bukhari, was prepared. The investigating officer seemed a bit confused.”
Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated, “Regarding the incident of the boat, where over 300 Pakistanis lost their lives, the Prime Minister announced mourning, which was appropriate. A commission was formed for an inquiry, and it was done correctly.”
He further said, “Is this a long-term solution? Look at the conditions of those 300 families. There is mourning in their homes, and it is not known whether your dear one is alive or not. I had set up a section in the Foreign Office whose job was to stay updated 24/7 on such matters. Today, three days have passed, and the Foreign Office is silent, not revealing the facts. I believe the Foreign Office should inform the public about this matter.”
He mentioned that his sympathies are with the affected families.
He added, “For three days, the engine of this ship has been turned off, and no one has seen it. My clips and interviews are available.”
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, “I had said that the PTI alliance is falling apart, and its dissolution has practically taken place. Bilawal Bhutto expressed concerns about Swat yesterday, and what he is saying about Sindh is correct. Why was there no comment on the allocation for Sindh in the budget? I accepted the words of Khaira Sahib, but it is not true.”
He further stated, “In the Mayor’s election in Karachi, why did the PML-N give 13 votes to the PPP? The PTI alliance has practically ended, and now the announcement remains.”
