Lahore’s Anti-Terrorism Court has rejected the bail plea of former Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, in a case of attacking the police with a petrol bomb.
The hearing of the case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, regarding the attack on the police with a petrol bomb, was conducted by Judge Ajaz Ahmed Buttar of the Anti-Terrorism Court.
A case has been registered against former Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, for the attack on the police in Gulberg Market police station.
During the hearing, the court questioned how bail could be granted if the police did not include any arrests in the case. Following this, the court rejected the bail plea, deeming it inadmissible.
