The Supreme Court rejected the interim bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the murder case of senior lawyer Abdul Razzaq Advocate.
In the Supreme Court, PTI Chairman’s lawyer, Latif Khosa, requested that an order be issued to refrain from arresting my client as his life is in danger.
Justice Ejaz-ul-Hasan responded by stating that without hearing the other party, we cannot issue any order at this stage.
On the request of lawyer Latif Khosa to form a larger bench, the court stated that it is possible to request the Chief Justice to assign the case for today itself. The court will also immediately dispatch the order sheet after signing it.
The court also rejected the plea to withhold the implementation of the High Court’s decision.
PTI Chairman’s lawyer, Latif Khosa, has filed a miscellaneous application for a hearing today.
The application requests the formation of an immediate three-member bench to conduct the hearing today, stating that the matter is sensitive and there is a fear of my client’s arrest, hence an urgent hearing is necessary.
