Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf, stated that despite the challenges, the present coalition government has presented a people-friendly budget, while Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized the pivotal importance of the Parliament’s role in rescuing the country from crises.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, visited the residence of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf. Federal Minister for Communications, Maulana Asad Mahmood, Khurram Pervez Raja, and Shah Rukh Raja were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on important political and economic matters, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his well-wishes regarding the recent incidents to the Speaker of the National Assembly.
