Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, stated that our government will come to an end on August 14th. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that whatever government comes in the future should increase the education fund.
During a ceremony regarding reforms in the Pakistan Education and Endowment Fund (PEEF) and the National Curriculum, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif distributed funds among deserving male and female students.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister stated that the Election Commission will announce the date for upcoming elections. Today, there is a meeting with the IMF, and the agreement with the IMF is not a moment of pride but a moment of concern.
The Prime Minister said that whatever government comes in the future, it should increase the education fund. The Election Commission will announce the elections in October, November, or whenever they occur.
The Prime Minister expressed happiness that funds were distributed among deserving male and female students today. I started this journey from Punjab in 2008 when I allocated 2 billion rupees for the Education and Endowment Fund.
While addressing the gathering, it was mentioned that when I was outside the country, I had a discussion on education with Dr. Amjad Saqib. Pakistan’s progress and happiness are only possible through education. Children from poor households are deprived of financial resources to acquire education.
It was stated that thousands of individuals have become doctors and engineers through the Education and Endowment Fund. Political allies and officers agreed on the provision of endowment funds for education. We have provided educational jobs to 450,000 boys and girls.
The Prime Minister stated that there was a desire to increase the endowment fund for education from 2 billion rupees annually. It is hoped that the future government will allocate 140 billion rupees instead of 14 billion for education.
Pakistan has more resources than its financial issues. Pakistan has fertile land, mountains, water, and mineral resources. Pakistan’s difficult times will soon come to an end, and we will move towards stability.
