Pakistan People’s Party and Muslim League agreed to dissolve the National Assembly on August 8.The term of the National Assembly ends on August 12 at 12 pm.
The proposal to dissolve the assembly on August 8 was put forward by the Pakistan Peoples Party, and legal experts also supported the idea of analyzing the assembly on that date.
The tenure of the National Assembly is set to end on the night of August 12.
On August 8, the Prime Minister will meet with the President of the country, Arif Alvi, and after the President’s signature, the National Assembly will be dissolved.
According to the constitutional requirements, within 90 days of the assembly’s dissolution, new elections are to be held.”
