The Minister of Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Memon gave a great news to the people of Karachi that the fare of People’s Bus service will not be increased for the next 6 months.
The Sindh government has decided not to increase the fare for the People’s Bus Service for a period of six months. This decision was made on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, and the Sindh Cabinet has approved it.
In this regard, a subsidy of 493.356 million rupees has been sanctioned as per the proposal of the Minister of Transport.
Sharjeel Memon stated that there will be no fare hike for the People’s Bus Service for the next six months, and the Sindh government will provide financial assistance by subsidizing the fares.
