Chairman PTI will be indicted on August 2 in the contempt Election Commission case.
A four-member commission, headed by Election Commission member Nisar Durrani from Sindh, conducted a hearing on the case. The PTI Chairman appeared before the Election Commission.
Member Nisar Durrani stated that today the PTI Chairman was supposed to present a charge frame. PTI’s lawyer, Shoaib Shahin, said that the Election Commission should first decide on our objections. I have been appointed as the PTI Chairman’s lawyer since the last hearing, and I should be given the opportunity to read the case files.
Member Nisar Durrani said that on August 2, the PTI Chairman will face contempt charges, and he will also be personally present in the next hearing.
