Lahore: The police have arrested Atiq Riaz, the husband of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) social media activist Sanam Javed, in connection with the attack on Jinnah House.
The Anti-Terrorism Court has sent Atiq Riaz to jail for identification parade.
The police presented Atiq Riaz in the Anti-Terrorism Court with his face covered and requested permission for an identification parade.
The court approved the request and remanded Atiq Riaz in judicial custody for 6 days for the identification parade.
According to Atiq Riaz’s lawyer, he was arrested for his alleged involvement in the case related to Sanam Javed.
It is worth mentioning that PTI worker Sanam Javed is already in jail in connection with the May 9th arson attack case.
