Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has stated that a decision regarding the caretaker Prime Minister will be made today in reference to the Prime Minister’s nominee.
He expressed his views on the announcement of the nominee for the caretaker Prime Minister. He mentioned that the head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has stated that he will accept the decision made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Rana Sanaullah said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has given the name of Kamran Tesuri while the People’s Party will also give one or two names. Decisions will be made according to the constitution and law. The name of caretaker prime minister may be finalized by this evening or tomorrow.
Regarding the general elections, he said that according to the Constitution, a second election cannot be held on the basis of the 2017 census. Constituency delimitation takes about 20 days, and it is not a matter of a few months.
The League leader said that the army chief’s return of favor was related to favor which was appropriate. The Army Chief gave the best statement regarding terrorists, he made it clear that negotiations with terrorists are not acceptable.
