Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Amir Farooq, has recused himself from all cases on account of his indisposition. The list of cases has been withdrawn due to his unwell condition.
According to details, today the request for reinstating the defense rights of Chairman PTI in the Toshakhana case will not be heard. Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Amir Farooq, will be on leave today due to his indisposition.
The request for reinstating the defense rights of Chairman PTI in the Tosha khana case was submitted by the PTI’s side. The Islamabad High Court had issued a notice to the Election Commission, seeking a response today.
It should be noted that the Trial Court had already terminated the defense rights of Chairman PTI in the Tosha khana case. The Trial Court had announced its final verdict even before the decision on the request from the High Court.
Due to the chief justice’s indisposition, the list of all cases of Chief Justice Amir Farooq’s court has been withdrawn.
Remember that after being sentenced to three years in the Tosha khana case, Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was arrested from Zaman Park and transferred to Attock Jail. Along with this, Chairman PTI has also been given a five-year sentence for contempt of the Election Commission.
