The visas for the Lahore National Cricket Squad to participate in the World Cup are likely to be issued today. The national cricket squad will leave for Hyderabad Deccan on Wednesday.
According to the sources, the Indian Embassy will get the NOC from its Ministry of Home Affairs today to issue visas to the Pakistani cricket squad, after which the visas have been issued.
Sources say that the Pakistan Cricket Board had contacted the ICC on the issue of visas and the ICC had instructed the Indian board to issue the NOC soon.
According to the sources, BCCI asked the Ministry of Home Affairs to issue the NOC soon after which there is a national possibility of progress on the matter today.
According to sources, the national cricket squad will leave for Hyderabad Deccan on Wednesday morning and before the start of the mega event, the national team will play its first warm-up match against New Zealand on September 29.
