The Shalimar Express from Karachi to Lahore met with an accident. According to the railway spokesperson, 3 coaches of Shalimar Express derailed near Bin Qasim area of Karachi, but there was no loss of life.
The up and down tracks were closed after the derailment of Shalimar Express. Peshawar-bound Awam Express was stopped at Juma Goth station and Havelian-bound Hazara Express at Bin Qasim.
According to the spokesperson, a relief train has been dispatched to the accident site. It should be noted that 4 days ago Shalimar Express from Karachi to Lahore had an accident near Padaidan.
