Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar welcomed the democratic continuity despite the challenges and said that peaceful elections will not be allowed to spread despite the threats of terrorism.
During a press conference in Islamabad, the Caretaker Prime Minister said that the people voted for Pakistan on February, and the security agencies played an important role in the successful conduct of the elections.
He said that Pakistan is still facing terrorism, despite the threats, peaceful elections were held, during which international observers were present.
When asked about the protest against the alleged rigging, the caretaker prime minister said that peaceful protest is the right of political workers, they will not allow anyone to spread anarchy.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that in 2018, the election results were compiled in 66 hours, here the election results were completed in 36 hours, the rioters will be dealt with according to the law.
