MQM Pakistan convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that if the People’s Party talks about our three-point constitutional amendment, then we are ready to cooperate.
Talking to the media after the meeting at the Governor’s House, he said that negotiations regarding government formation have not started yet, the MQM coordination committee has given full authority to the party’s negotiation committee.
He said that we will discuss the approval of our three-point constitutional amendments, take ministries that can serve the urban areas of Sindh and Pakistan if any party disagrees with these amendments.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that national and provincial governments have been protected by the constitution, such constitutional protection should also be given to local governments, local bodies should be administratively and financially independent.
