ISLAMABAD: Before the arrival of Ramadan, the prices of food items have increased in all major cities of the country. Prices of vegetables sold in Karachi increased from 25 to 100 percent.
Potato 70 to 80 rupees per kg, onion 250 to 270 rupees per kg, tomato 200 rupees per kg, garlic 600 rupees, ginger 600 rupees, green chilli 400 rupees, bell pepper 600 rupees, lemon 450, cabbage 160, cauliflower 240 and Peas started selling at Rs 240 per kg.
