In the 28th match of PSL Season 9, Quetta Gladiators qualified for the play-off stage by defeating Lahore Qalandars by 6 wickets after a thrilling match.
Targeting 167 runs, Quetta Gladiators got the six marker on the last ball. With Quetta’s win, Karachi Kings were eliminated from the race to reach the next stage. Qalandar was already out of the race.
Quetta Gladiators needed 4 runs off the last ball to win the match, but Wasim Jr hit Shaheen for a six and not only won the match but also sent his team to the next stage.
Apart from this, Saud Shakeel remained unbeaten by scoring 88 runs.
