The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to impose a fixed tax on beauty parlors and wedding halls. All stakeholders will be taken into confidence regarding the fixed tax.
Advisor to the Treasury of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muzamil Aslam, stated that wedding halls and beauty parlors will be categorized based on their size and business volume.
Owners will be given the option to choose either fixed or percentage rates, and according to the selected system, they will pay their monthly taxes along with the invoice.
The Advisor to the Treasury mentioned that wedding halls and beauty parlors will be classified into categories according to their size and business volume. All stakeholders will be consulted regarding the fixed tax, taking their confidence into account.
The Advisor further stated that strict action will be taken against businesses and institutions involved in tax evasion.
