Iranian President Dr. Ibrahim Raisi has returned to Iran along with his delegation after completing a three-day visit to Pakistan. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Governor Kamran Tessori bid goodbye to President Raisi at Karachi airport.
During his visit to Pakistan, the Iranian president held meetings with the leadership of the country. He also paid a visit to the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.
During the visit, the Iranian President met with the President, Prime Minister, Army Chief, Senate Chairman, National Assembly Speaker, Chief Ministers and Governors of Sindh and Punjab.
On the visit of the Iranian president, it was agreed to increase the trade volume between Pakistan and Iran to 10 billion dollars.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “Welcome to the President of Iran and his delegation on their arrival in Pakistan. We have a good conversation today. We have relations of religion, civilization, investment and security. A detailed discussion was held in all areas.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the relations between Iran and Pakistan are not only for 76 years, Pakistan was first recognized by Iran.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the Security Council resolution on Gaza is being flouted, but the United Nations is silent, while he is grateful to the Iranian president for raising his voice for Kashmir.
On the three-day official visit to Pakistan, the Iranian president was accompanied by his wife, the Iranian foreign minister, other cabinet members, senior officials and businessmen.
