Unlike the United States, France supported the International Criminal Court on the possible arrest warrant of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
According to the international news organization, the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France has said that their country is in compliance with the decisions of the International Criminal Court (ICC). It supports the fight against freedom and immunity in all circumstances.
The statement of the French Foreign Ministry added that as far as Israel is concerned, It is up to the court’s pre-trial chamber to decide whether to issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu after examining the evidence presented by the prosecutor.
It should be noted that, on the contrary, US President Joe Biden condemned the International Criminal Court and called the Israeli Prime Minister’s arrest warrant a provocation.
Yesterday, International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan said that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yves Gallant and Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Mohammad Def and Ismail Haniyeh had requested arrest warrants.
