The Islamabad District and Sessions Court has announced its reserved verdict. The District and Sessions Court has acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan in two more cases related to the events of May 9.
Judicial Magistrate Umar Shabbir announced the reserved verdict on the acquittal pleas. The court acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan due to insufficient evidence. It is noteworthy that lawyers Mirza Asim Baig and Naeem Panjotha presented arguments for Imran Khan’s acquittal.
The court announced its reserved verdict on the acquittal pleas in two cases from Shehzad Town police station. It should be noted that on April 2, a local court in Islamabad acquitted Chairman Imran Khan and former Federal Minister Asad Umar in a case registered at Margalla police station for holding a rally.
In May, a local court in Islamabad acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rashid, Faisal Javed, Ali Nawaz Awan, Qasim Suri, and Raja Khurram Nawaz in a case registered at Kohsar police station.
