Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to call an All Parties Conference (APC) upon his return from Kazakhstan.
According to sources, the date and time for the APC will be determined after the Prime Minister’s return. Shehbaz Sharif intends to take all political parties into confidence regarding Operation Azm-e-Istahkam.
Sources further indicate that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for home after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and SCO Plus summons.
It is noteworthy that opposition parties have expressed serious reservations regarding Operation Azm-e-Istahkam. Parties, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), have demanded that the government clarify the details of this operation and ensure all parties are taken into confidence.
