During an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, where he appeared for the £90 million case, Imran Khan stated that his party would attend the APC and listen to the government’s stance.
He expressed concerns about the ongoing ‘Azm-e-Istahkam’ operation, stating, “We share a 2,500 km border with Afghanistan, and we have reservations about this operation. It will lead to further instability in the country.”
Imran Khan emphasized, “This is a national issue, and we will participate in the APC for the country’s sake.”
Notably, the Pakistan government has decided to initiate the ‘Azm-e-Istahkam’ operation. However, all major political parties have opposed this operation. To build a national consensus, the government has decided to call for an APC.
