Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the appointment of Pakistan’s current ambassador to the European Union, Amna Baloch, as the new Foreign Secretary.
Sources have confirmed that Amna Baloch, currently the Ambassador to the European Union, will be appointed as the new Secretary of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch will also take on the role of Pakistan’s new Ambassador to France.
Sources indicate that Janbaz Khan will be appointed Pakistan’s new Ambassador to Brunei, while Mohammad Saleem will take over as Pakistan’s new High Commissioner to Canada. The Prime Minister has reportedly approved these appointments and transfers.
Sources reveal that Malik Farooq, currently serving in Kuwait, will be appointed as Pakistan’s new High Commissioner to South Africa. Additionally, Faisal Niaz Termizi is set to become the new Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union.
