Allama Iqbal Express narrowly escaped a major accident in Kotri, the joint of the train opened near the railway station due to which the train split into two parts and climbed onto the other track.
Trains were stopped at Hyderabad station, as a result of which other vehicles including Pakistan Express, Mehran Express, Qaraqram Express and Millat Express were affected at Hyderabad station.
The railway administration says that the train split into two parts while going from one track to another. However, there was no loss of life as a result of the accident, while the staff has started the rehabilitation work.
