In the interbank market, the trend of increasing the value of the rupee continues for the second day in a row. The dollar depreciated by another 5 rupees 33 paise to the level of 268 rupees.
According to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, an increase in the value of the rupee was seen in the interbank market by 5 rupees 33 paisa, after which the dollar has become 268 rupees, which closed at 273 rupees 33 paisa the previous day.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, on February 8, the value of the rupee against the dollar increased by 1.08 percent or 2 rupees 95 paise.
Komal Mansoor, Tracemark’s Head of Strategy, said that there appears to be a broad agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on reforms.While the negotiations today are also expected to finalize the Economic and Financial Policies (MEFP).
