The government has decided to call a joint session of the Parliament on August 28, the members of the National Assembly and the Senate have been informed about the joint session.
Sources say that MPs have been instructed to ensure attendance at the joint session.
On the other hand, it has been decided to convene the meeting of the National Assembly on August 26, for which the National Assembly Secretariat has also issued a notification.
The session of the National Assembly was convened in the exercise of the powers delegated under clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution, the present session being the 9th session of the 16th National Assembly.
