The government has postponed the joint session of Parliament scheduled for tomorrow, August 28.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said during an interview that the joint session of the Parliament will be held next week.
It should be noted that a joint session of Parliament was called on August 28, but was postponed now, for which reasons were not given.
There are reports in the media that the government wants to make a law regarding the judiciary in the joint session.
In this regard, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that no legislation regarding the judiciary is under consideration, on the other hand, Petroleum Minister Mossadegh Malik said that for the kind of decisions coming from the judiciary, a constitutional amendment is necessary.
