The Islamabad High Court ordered the removal of Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shibli Faraz’s name from the ECL within a week.
The Islamabad High Court has said that if the court order is not implemented, the Interior Secretary should appear at the next hearing.
Shibli Faraz had filed a contempt of court petition for not removing the name from ECL as per the court order.
Today, Islamabad High Court Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri inquired that the name has not been removed from the ECL yet.
In the court, the lawyer replied that he was neither telling nor giving a report.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said that why these issues are not discussed in the assembly, they are parliamentarians.
Later, the court ordered to remove the name from the ECL within a week and also ordered to appear in person to the Home Secretary in case of non-implementation.
