Lahore: Former Federal Minister Asad Umar says that wrong news is being spread about me that I have joined the People’s Party.

Speaking to the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, Asad Umar said that false news was being spread about me that I had joined the People’s Party.

He has said that I am in Lahore and cannot even think of going to another party, Fawad Chaudhary is throwing a lot of fire, I will tell him to keep his hand light.

Earlier, the anti-terrorism court of Lahore held a hearing on Asad Umar’s interim bail in the May 9 incidents.

The court inquired whether there had been an investigation involving Asad Umar. On which the lawyer said that G. Asad Umar had been investigated, the police officer said that the investigating officer is not present in the court in all three cases.

The lawyer stated that Asad Umar has appeared before the JIT, and there is video evidence. The police officer claimed that he did not participate in the investigation, to which Asad Umar’s lawyer responded that interim bails have been ongoing for 14 months, and he has appeared three times.

Later, the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court adjourned the hearing of the case by summoning DSP Legal in a personal capacity for the next hearing.
