The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has expressed the fear of skidding of planes on the runway of Karachi International Airport during the change of weather.
According to a Dawn News report, the directive issued by the CAA has warned that Runway No. 25 gets wet these days during the night due to dew.
It said that due to the wetness of the runway, this situation could lead to slippage of the planes during take-off and landing.
In its advisory, the Civil Aviation Authority has advised all airlines to take mandatory precautions and measures during landing and take-off of aircraft.
